Mayo Field Day

We are pleased to announce that the Mayo PTA will be hosting a Field Day on June 1st.  We are currently seeking volunteers to help work with our Gym teacher, Dan Wilde for the planning of this much anticipated event.  Join us for our November meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9th at 7pm in the school library to help us get started.  Our Field Day will take the place of Summer Celebration, so if you were planning to volunteer for Summer Celebration this year, please consider volunteering your time to Field Day.  Thanks a bunch!

First Meeting

Thank you to everyone who came to our first meeting .  There was a great turnout with lots of open conversation.   We were also lucky enough to have or Principal, Vice Principal, and all three Kindergarten teachers in attendance, and they spoke to us regarding the new stress management for kids program that has been implemented in the Kindergarten classrooms. Our Principal would love to see this program implemented throughout the whole school, and those in attendance voted unanimously to use PTA funds to help make this happen.  Take a look at the article in the Worcester T&G featuring our school and this new program!
